The Counsel is an open-source legal assistant for the laws of England and Wales. It brings together a set of specialist skills and agents to help people read, draft and check legal documents, from contracts to tenancy questions.
I designed and built the product and its public site, which shows what it does in plain English: catching risky clauses, preparing a clean first draft, giving a second opinion before signing, and reviewing one document from several angles at once.
